Creating Pages from Templates

Templates let you build a complete dashboard in seconds. EasePage ships with a gallery of prebuilt layouts designed for common business scenarios, and you can use them in two ways: start a new page from a template, or apply a template to an existing page.

Start a New Page from a Template

In a workspace, click + New Page and pick Use templates in the first step of the New Page dialog, then click Next.

The New Page dialog, step 1: Start with a blank canvas or Use templates.

The Template Gallery

The gallery contains 25 templates covering sales and service scenarios such as Revenue Dashboard, Pipeline Overview, Win-Loss Analysis, Team Leaderboard, At-Risk Accounts, and Account Intelligence. Each template lists tags for the widget types and Dynamics 365 tables it uses (for example StatCard, Opportunity, Lead, Account, Contract).

Apply a Template to an Existing Page

Inside the Page Designer, click Templates in the toolbar to open the Apply Template dialog. Pick a template, then choose a mode at the bottom right:

  • Append adds the template widgets after the current content of the canvas.
  • Override replaces the whole canvas with the template.

Click Apply Template to confirm.

Notes

  • Template widgets are preconfigured against common Dynamics 365 tables. After applying a template, open each widget to point it at the right data source and view for your environment.
  • The demo pages in your Default Workspace are built from these templates, so you can explore a finished example before creating your own.
